Sandra-fey always knew she was meant for more than this world. So being abord the Colony One space station and working on her dream to go beyond the heat of our star and explore distant worlds is a dream come true.

Well down on earth a virus is spreading across Earth, killing thousands, and Sandra's mother a bright mind of modern invention lays dying in a hospital bed. Sandra wants to make her proud. She will do whatever it takes to complete her interstellar engine.

Then she does and it's too late, her mother is already dead. But Sandra has to keep living.
